KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya Tenggelam di Selat Bali, Puluhan Penumpang Masih Dicari
NEWSLIVE – Kapal Motor Penumpang KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya, yang berlayar dari Pelabuhan Ketapang menuju Gilimanuk, dilaporkan tenggelam di Selat Bali pada Rabu malam (2/7) sekitar pukul 23.20–23.35 WIB, menurut keterangan Koordinator Pos SAR Banyuwangi, Wahyu Setia Budi.
Kapal dilaporkan membawa total 65 orang, yang terdiri dari 53 penumpang, 12 kru, dan 22 kendaraan—termasuk truk besar—meskipun pencatatan manifes awal menyebutkan 53 penumpang dan 12 kru.
Kronologi dan Upaya Pertolongan
• 22.56 WIB: KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya berangkat dari Ketapang.
• 23.20 WIB: Kapal mengirim sinyal darurat karena mengalami gangguan mesin.
• 00.16 WITA: Kru kapal meminta bantuan lagi setelah ruang mesin bocor.
• 00.19 WITA: Kapal mengalami pemadaman mesin total (“blackout”) dan kemudian terbalik.
• 00.22 WITA: Informasi terakhir menunjukkan kapal sudah terbalik dan hanyut ke selatan.
Koordinat posisi kapal terakhir tercatat di −08°09.371’, 114°25.1569’.
Tim SAR gabungan dari Basarnas Banyuwangi, Basarnas Denpasar, Pos SAR Jembrana, KPLP, Polairud, dan TNI AL dikerahkan tak lama setelah informasi tenggelam diterima. Kapal RIB dan kapal SAR tambahan dikerahkan menyusuri laut dan pantai sepanjang Selat Bali.
Hingga Kamis (3/7) pagi, empat orang ditemukan selamat, terdiri dari satu kru kapal Kepala Kamar Mesin, Sandi Wariyawan, dan tiga penumpang: Romi Alfa Hidayat, Mansur, serta Saroji, semua dievakuasi dari sekoci di perairan pesisir Cekik dan dibawa ke Pelabuhan Gilimanuk.
Cuaca buruk dengan gelombang setinggi 1,7 hingga 2,5 meter serta gelapnya malam turut menghambat operasi pencarian lebih lanjut. Tim SAR masih berupaya mengakses lokasi kapal terbalik dengan alat bantu visual tambahan dan sinyal sonar.
Data lapangan awal menunjukkan kasus kebocoran ruang mesin sebagai pemicu kapal mulai kemasukan air hingga akhirnya terguling. KSOP Tanjungwangi dan Basarnas tengah menginvestigasi lebih lanjut. Tim SAR tetap berupaya menemukan penumpang lainnya. Warga dihimbau untuk tidak menyebarkan informasi tidak terverifikasi dan menghindari area pencarian.
