Prabowo Subianto–Donald Trump Teken Perjanjian Dagang, RI Sepakati Transfer Data Konsumen ke AS
NEWSLIVE – Pemerintah Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat resmi menandatangani perjanjian dagang bilateral yang memuat klausul transfer data konsumen lintas negara. Kesepakatan tersebut diteken Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto dan Presiden AS Donald Trump dalam pertemuan di Washington D.C., Kamis (19/2/2026).
Perjanjian yang dikenal sebagai Agreement on Reciprocal Trade (ART) ini mencakup kerja sama perdagangan barang, penyesuaian tarif, serta dukungan terhadap ekosistem ekonomi digital kedua negara.
Transfer Data untuk Dukung Perdagangan Digital
Menteri Koordinator Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto menjelaskan bahwa klausul transfer data bertujuan memperlancar transaksi ekonomi digital dan perdagangan lintas batas.
Menurutnya, mekanisme transfer data konsumen dari Indonesia ke AS akan tetap mengacu pada regulasi nasional yang berlaku, termasuk aturan perlindungan data pribadi.
“Transfer data lintas batas dilakukan sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di Indonesia,” ujarnya dalam konferensi pers.
Pemerintah Tegaskan Perlindungan Data Tetap Berlaku
Pemerintah menegaskan bahwa kesepakatan ini tidak berarti data pribadi warga Indonesia dapat dipindahkan secara bebas tanpa pengawasan. Seluruh proses tetap tunduk pada ketentuan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Data Pribadi serta standar keamanan informasi.
Transfer data dimaksudkan untuk mendukung kepentingan perdagangan digital, termasuk transaksi e-commerce dan layanan berbasis teknologi antara pelaku usaha Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat.
Bagian dari Paket Perdagangan Lebih Luas
Selain klausul transfer data, perjanjian ART juga memuat kesepakatan tarif resiprokal untuk memperkuat hubungan dagang kedua negara.
Pemerintah menyatakan kerja sama ini diharapkan meningkatkan daya saing ekspor Indonesia serta memperluas akses pasar ke Amerika Serikat, sekaligus mendorong investasi dan penguatan sektor ekonomi digital nasional. Kesepakatan tersebut menandai babak baru hubungan ekonomi Indonesia–AS di tengah dinamika perdagangan global 2026.
