Indonesia Sehat Jiwa, Langkah Strategis Gerakan Kesehatan Mental Dari Tingkat Lokal ke Nasional
NEWSLIVE – Transformasi Malang Raya Sehat Jiwa menjadi Indonesia Sehat Jiwa menandai langkah strategis menuju perluasan gerakan kesehatan mental dari tingkat lokal ke nasional, guna menyediakan layanan pendampingan, edukasi, dan pencegahan bunuh diri yang inklusif, aman, dan terjangkau bagi seluruh masyarakat Indonesia.
Gerakan kesehatan mental Malang Raya Sehat Jiwa secara resmi mengumumkan transformasi menjadi Indonesia Sehat Jiwa dalam acara yang berlangsung di Gedung MCC pada Kamis (17/4/2025). Transformasi ini menjadi langkah strategis dan progresif dalam memperluas dampak sosial dari skala regional ke tingkat nasional. Hal ini juga menandai komitmen baru dalam membangun sistem pendampingan, edukasi, dan pencegahan bunuh diri di seluruh Indonesia.
“Gerakan ini bermula dari rasa prihatin saya terhadap kasus bunuh diri yang kian marak di Kota Malang,” ujar Sofia Ambarini, inisiator sekaligus Ketua Indonesia Sehat Jiwa.
Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, Malang Raya Sehat Jiwa telah aktif menjadi ruang aman dan komunitas pendukung bagi masyarakat Kota Malang dan sekitarnya. Fokus utama gerakan ini adalah pencegahan bunuh diri, edukasi, dan pendampingan bagi mereka yang mengalami tekanan mental. Organisasi ini menyediakan berbagai layanan gratis tanpa dipungut biaya, seperti hotline crisis center, konseling dengan tim ahli (terdiri atas peer support, psikolog, psikiater, dan konselor), serta safe house bagi pasien yang membutuhkan perlindungan. Selain itu, Indonesia Sehat Jiwa juga telah bekerja sama dengan beberapa rumah sakit di Kota Malang, yaitu RS Universitas Brawijaya dan RSJ Dr. Radjiman Wediodiningrat, Lawang.
“Sejak Desember 2023 kami menjalankan program ini, ternyata kami menerima banyak pesan bukan hanya dari Kota Malang, tetapi juga dari luar Pulau Jawa, bahkan dari WNI yang sedang bekerja di luar negeri. Oleh karena itu, kami merasa gerakan ini tidak boleh terbatas di Kota Malang saja, tetapi harus diperluas ke seluruh Indonesia,” ungkap Sofia.
Tingginya permintaan pertolongan dari luar daerah, bahkan hingga luar Pulau Jawa, menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan layanan kesehatan mental tidak lagi terbatas secara geografis. Oleh karena itu, organisasi ini merasa perlu memperluas cakupan kerja agar lebih banyak individu di seluruh Indonesia dapat menerima bantuan yang dibutuhkan.
Menurut data WHO, Indonesia diperkirakan memiliki angka bunuh diri sebesar 24 per 100.000 jiwa. Namun, angka ini kemungkinan lebih tinggi karena belum adanya sistem pencatatan nasional yang komprehensif. Survei Kesehatan Indonesia (SKI) 2023 juga mengungkapkan bahwa anak muda merupakan kelompok yang lebih rentan terhadap ide bunuh diri. Kuatnya stigma terhadap isu bunuh diri serta minimnya pelaporan dari masyarakat dan institusi menyebabkan banyak kasus tidak tercatat secara resmi.
Dengan meningkatnya tren kasus dan terbatasnya akses terhadap layanan kesehatan mental, kehadiran gerakan seperti Malang Raya Sehat Jiwa menjadi sangat krusial. Oleh karena itu, transformasi menjadi Indonesia Sehat Jiwa diharapkan dapat menjadi pionir dalam membangun jembatan antardaerah, menyediakan edukasi, dan menghadirkan layanan yang inklusif, aman, serta mudah diakses oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat tanpa hambatan jarak maupun biaya.
“Oleh karena itu, dalam kesempatan ini, kami mentransformasikan Malang Raya Sehat Jiwa secara resmi menjadi Indonesia Sehat Jiwa. Kami sangat berharap perluasan cakupan layanan ke tingkat nasional ini dapat menjadi pionir dalam membangun konektivitas antarwilayah, menyediakan edukasi, dan menghadirkan layanan yang lebih inklusif, aman, dan mudah dijangkau oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat,” jelas Sofia.
Sebagai langkah awal, Indonesia Sehat Jiwa meluncurkan program perdananya dengan dukungan dari LINKSOS (Lingkar Sosial Indonesia) dan MCC, yaitu Pojok Curhat, yang berlokasi di Gedung MCC Share Office LINKSOS Lantai 5. Program ini ditujukan agar seluruh masyarakat, terutama anak muda yang termasuk dalam kelompok rentan, tidak merasa sendiri dan dapat berbagi masalah yang mereka hadapi. Rencananya, kegiatan ini akan berlangsung setiap hari Senin dan Kamis.
Pendiri LINKSOS, Ken Kerta, menyampaikan bahwa Pojok Curhat Gen Z dan Disabilitas merupakan bagian dari upaya bersama lintas organisasi dan komunitas dalam membangun kesadaran kolektif akan pentingnya kesehatan mental. Layanan ini juga memperkuat dukungan sosial bagi individu-individu yang membutuhkan. Jadwal layanan dan lokasi Pojok Curhat akan diumumkan secara berkala melalui media sosial dan kanal resmi para mitra.
“Penting untuk memahami bahwa dalam sebagian besar kasus, bunuh diri bukanlah hasil dari satu faktor tunggal, melainkan akumulasi tekanan emosional, fisik, dan sosial yang tidak tertangani secara memadai. Oleh sebab itu, pojok layanan kesehatan mental ini merupakan aksi nyata yang solutif dan penting mendapatkan dukungan dari semua pihak,” ujar Ken Kerta.
Sofia menambahkan, “Program ini hadir karena melihat kenyataan bahwa banyak orang mengalami depresi, tetapi memilih untuk menutup diri dan tidak mencari pertolongan. Tantangan lain yang sering dihadapi, terutama oleh anak muda, adalah keterbatasan biaya untuk mendapatkan bantuan. Oleh karena itu, harapan kami adalah agar program ini dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi terwujudnya Indonesia yang sehat jiwa,” tuturnya. (Ab)
