Produsen Tembakau Iris Bisa Terancam Pidana
malangpost.id– Peredaran tembakau iris makin marak di masyarakat. Biasanya dijual dengan takaran per gram. Jika tak sesuai regulasi, bisa dikenakan hukuman pidana. “Kalau terbukti ada tersangka dan barang bukti, sanksinya penjara paling lama 8 tahun dan denda,” ujar Kepala Kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Bea dan Cukai (KPPBC) Tipe Madya Cukai Malang, Latif Helmi.
Terkait legalitas, produsen harus melaporkan ke bea cukai sebelum menjualnya ke pasaran. “Tembakau jenis ini harusnya melapor dan ada mereknya dulu,” tutur Latif. Namun, sejauh ini belum ada laporan dari produsen rokok iris tentang legalitas penjualan.
“Sejauh ini belum ada laporan. Kalau eceran gak ada merknya itu termasuk ilegal,” kata Latif. Jika dibiarkan ilegal, peredaran tembakau jenis ini akan merugikan negara. “Jadi harus ada cukainya.
Tembakau jenis ini kan kecil ya,” ungkap Latif. Razia sejauh ini masih menyasar rokok batangan ilegal. Bukan tembakau iris. “Sejauh ini ada 6 juta batang rokok ilegal. Tembakau iris belum pernah,” terang
